John White Jr.
Mr. White is an established investor and asset manager, with extensive experience in natural resources, land, commercial real estate and residential developments.
Born and raised in New Orleans, he has been a Board member, Vice-President and primary originator of investments for Phoenix Development Company over the last 20 years, with major concentrations of investments being in large shopping centers, timber-productive land, mitigation banks, ranch-land and horizontal residential developments throughout the southeast region of the United States.
Beyond his investment activity with Phoenix Development, Mr. White has actively invested in the oil services sector in the Permian basin, purchased and sold approximately 200,000 acres of land across the entire southeast, from Texas to Florida.
He has also structured the financing and raised the capital for over 40 shopping centers, subsequently selling his interest in those assets back to the consortium when Rothschild Group became the primary financial partner.
Mr. White earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
Prior to his business career, Mr. White was an All-American football player and was recruited to play quarterback for Penn State and University of Mississippi.
